Black Summer

I’m loving Frusciante’s tone on this and his choice of phrasing in the guitar solo. He follows the main melody of the song but he deviates from it with his own licks.

To get close to the tone settings of Frusciante, I used a Hendrix amp head in Amplitube. And a Uni-Vibe pedal with a little chorus. I added a digital reverb rack mount to the rack section and a compression pedal to the effects loop. My tone may be a little more on the treble side than Frusciante’s. But I was feeling it.
